A family member calls you up and asks you to come and haul you out of the ditch with your tow truck. "Sure" you say. "That'll be $35/hour plus $0.90/L of fuel".

"But wait a minute" .. "I'm your bud" your helpless friend says.

"Wake up, this is a capitalist society we live in. Capital drives the truck, not friendship." you say.

Your friend says "you're on the telephone line. Don't you realize I work for City TelCo? Each minute you talk I'll put on a $2.30 surcharge. Capital drives this telephone line, not words."
